Ooooooo weeeeeee, I made a good lunch today! As I usually cook for one (moi), my recipes (concoctions is a better word) lean that way.
Mesquite Sloppy Joes (makes 2 sandwiches)
2 oz. cooked ground meat (beef that you've rinsed to remove fat, or lean ground turkey or chicken)
2 TBL. crushed pineapple
2 TBL. Maple Groves Farm fat-free mesquite marinade or another mesquite or BBQ flavored sauce
2 TBL. fat free pasta sauce
2 whole wheat hamburger buns (the 1 point kind is what I used)--toasted a little would be good
Slap all together (except buns), heat in microwave, sthingy mixture onto your buns, and enjoy with a nice salad, or cut up veggies on the side (you know, instead of chips!)---hope you like it!
